Last week of April -2014

This week has consisted of - spraying large areas of the course with a weed killer, starting with the long rough. All the greens have been micro tined, cut and rolled. Also all the areas of the greens where surface water sometimes sits are starting to be hollow tined and then, seeded and top dressed to help any surface water get away and hopefully dry that part of the green up after heavy rain.

A busy week of preparations on the Golf Course for the masters this weekend now complete :)

April 12th - 17th

A hard weeks work complete on strimming/flymo-ing and weeding all the fairway bunkers..
With this heat it's been a tough week but we pulled through even tho I thought we had lost our bunker technician's at one point to heat exhaustion :)

1st week of April 2014

Grass growth slowly starting to pick up.
Lots of mowers have been out cutting this week along with all the fairways sprayed with a moss treatment and a fertiliser.
Machine units also re-ground/sharpened and some mowers have been serviced ready for the start of the cutting season!
