1st Green Feb 2015

The turf has now been laid back down and will now need looking after closely for the next 6-8 weeks, rolling, fertilising and top dressing (weather dependent)
Hopefully the new shape will help the surface water run off the green.
We have now started the surround to blend it in and also help the water carry on going off the greenside and in to the rough.

1st Green Re-Shaping

Work has started on re-shaping the 1st green to hopefully solve the problem of lying water through the winter months.
We started by taking the levels with a laser to get the correct fall and measurements, we then took the turf off and starting pegging our levels again, we then knew how much soil we need to take out and put in at different areas.
Once the green is completed we'll start the surround on the left hand side to tie it in with the new level of the green.

Feb 2015

Lots of moss treatments being applied over the course, mainly on tees and greens. The greens have also had lots of other treatments applied to them and spring maintenance is planned for mid-March.
A detailed plan for spring maintenance is to follow shortly.
